For Honor is an upcoming action IP from Ubisoft that will feature 12 different playable heroes as you cut through your opponents on the battlefield. Originally revealed with a story campaign back during E3 2016, it's going to feature five different multiplayer modes as well, including Dominion, Brawl, Elimination, Duel and Skirmish.

The Knight, Samurai and Viking classes will include four varied warriors each, bringing the playable total to twelve. Vanguards act as well-rounded characters, Assassins use stealth, Heavies wield awesome attack power, and Hybrids naturally hone a mix of various capabilities. Depending on which class you choose, you can further customize them with various skills, weapons, armor and fighting styles. As you progress through the game you'll earn XP to unlock additional abilities and visual customization options. In other words, the more you play and the better you perform, the more you can do with your characters.

There's a lot going on within For Honor, making it a formidable choice for both multiplayer and single-player affairs. You can either go it alone and earn XP and customization options or take it to your friends to see how fast you can cut them down.

The For Honor Collector's Case was also detailed at Gamescom, with the promise of some beautiful collectibles to go with your game.

The Collector’s Case of For Honor will offer:
• For Honor Gold Edition: the base game, the Digital Deluxe Pack from the Deluxe Edition, and the full Season Pass
• An exclusive Collector’s Box
• Three 1/3 scale, full metal warrior helmets on wooden stands representing the Knights, the Vikings and the Samurai
• An exclusive lithography

If you preorder, you'll also get the Legacy Battle Pack, which comes with three additional outfits according to the faction you choose. Warden, Raider and Kensei Heroes will be able to equip them, and they'll only be available in the Legacy Battle Pack.
