Supergirl may be a newcomer to LEGO Dimensions, but she’s already introducing more new characters to the game.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new “Meet the Heroes” video featuring Supergirl and fellow alien E.T.
Supergirl points out the many similarities between herself the star of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, including that they’re both aliens, they both were taken in by a kind human family, and that they both have superpowers.
E.T. is one of the new characters featured in the second year of LEGO Dimensions.All LEGO minifigures included in wave 6-9 expansion packs (representing the second year of LEGO Dimensions) will come with special, golden Toy Tags which unlock a Battle Arena within the Adventure World of the figure’s brand. For the first time in a LEGO video game, the new Battle Arenas will offer competitive split-screen for local gameplay for up to four players. Each Battle Arena has four gameplay modes and comes with a unique set of traps, special powers, and interactive environments.
Supergirl will be available for a limited time as part of the PlayStation 4 LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack. The Supergirl LEGO minifigure unlocks Supergirl within the game, where she can use abilities such as Super Strength, Flying, X-Ray Vision, and a heat vision Beam Attack. She can also transform into Supergirl Girl Red Lantern, giving her the ability to fire Red Lantern energy bolts and energy beams from her Red Lantern Ring and to form Red Lantern Energy Constructs.
The previous "Meet the Heroes" video featured Lumpy Space Princess from Adventure Time introducing B.A. Baracus from The A-Team.
Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO Dimensions is now available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Wii U system.
