Battlefield

For fans that have been clamoring for a special event to take place in Battlefield 1, you won't have to wait any longer. The Battlefest is here!

Electronic Arts has provided details regarding the first Battlefest to take place in the multiplayer game in this blog post, but here's the general knowledge you need to know in order to take part.

First off, anyone who logs in to Battlefield 1 between today and November 27th will automatically get something cool for your efforts – a limited edition Battlefest Dog Tag. In addition, if you're a Battlefield Insider, you'll also score a special Battlefield Insider Dog Tag the next time you join in with the game.

Also, during the next three days, if you jump into an Operations Match and manage to win will score a cool PTFO weapon skin, which looks pretty sweet.

On November 23rd, you'll also be able to snag a special Veteran Dog Tag if you've played any previous Battlefield games, including Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, or Battlefield: Hardline. (The game will detect already based on previous game saves on your profile.)

Last but not least, for Battlefield 1, you'll be able to earn a CTE Veteran Dog Tag if you took part in testing for either Battlefield 4 and/or Battlefield: Hardline.

Speaking of those games, double XP will also be offered for both, in case you're playing through Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline again. These events will take place on November 18th and 25th, in case you need some relief from Black Friday.

Really, though, it's all about taking part in Battlefield 1 and having a good time over the next few days, and scoring some sweet rewards for your profile that you can proudly show off down the road. Dog tags for all!

Battlefield 1 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin PC.
