by Robert Workman

It has been approximately a ten-year wait (yes, that long) for Final Fantasy XV to make its way to game systems, and finally, it's here. Yep, right now, you can get the long-awaited sequel for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and take part in its many epic adventures.

To celebrate the long-awaited release of the game, Square Enix has put together an awesome live-action trailer titled "Stand Together", set to the tune of Florence + the Machine's cover of "Stand By Me". In the trailer, a group of kids try to bring down a gigantic warrior with a trap, only for it to backfire on them and leave them in peril. However, that enables the game's main gang of heroes to step in and keep them from harm. You can check out the trailer below.

Game director Hajime Tabara had this to say about the game's launch: "Final Fantasy has a special place in the hearts of many and the team who worked long and hard on this project couldn’t be prouder to present Final Fantasy XV to fans around the world. Today, we invite not only longtime fans but a new generation of gamers to a series beloved thanks to the engaging story telling, unique characters and captivating worlds that have become the hallmark of Final Fantasy over the years."

In addition to the live-action trailer, Square Enix also unveiled a new gameplay trailer, featuring plenty of in-game action with the theme "Ride Together". You can check out that video below.

If you're a fan of the series, Final Fantasy XV is definitely looking like a not-miss chapter of it, taking the story to a whole new level with an eclectic cast of characters. We'll have our final verdict of the game over the next few days.

In the meantime, you can check it out now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
