Ubisoft has spent the last year celebrating its 30th anniversary in the game business, offering free games for the past 12 months to users looking to add them to their PC library. But if you somehow missed out – or didn’t really have the hard drive space, you’ve got one last chance to do so!
The company has tweeted out today that it’s offering seven (!) free games for PC owners from now until December 18th at their official Ubisoft Club page. Along with this month’s offering of Assassin’s Creed III, which went free earlier in the month, you’ll also be able to get your hands on the following:
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell
- Rayman Origins
- The Crew (sans add-ons)
- Beyond Good and Evil
- Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
That’s quite a tremendous amount of value for free, especially with cult hits like Beyond Good and Evil and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon at your fingertips. And once they’re gone, who knows if Ubisoft will offer them up again.
All it takes to download these games is visiting the site and registering for an account (it’s free as well), and then prompting to download the games once the link goes up. That’s about it. After that, they’re yours to keep and enjoy, and you’ll get several hours’ worth of play out of them, we assure you.
Many thanks to Ubisoft for sharing the love going into its 30th year in the gaming industry. Here’s to 30 more – and maybe some more free games on the side? Heh.
While you’re at it, make sure you check out Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Assassin’s Creed III as well. They’re pretty big adventures, and have hours worth of play attached. The Crew isn’t bad either, if you’ve got a bunch of people to race against. And dare we forget about Rayman Origins? Nope. It's amazing.
