There are a lot of great weapons on hand for your characters in Overwatch (we’re digging Reaper’s double shotguns, even though they’re quite disposable), but we know what you players want – the Golden Guns. Thankfully, IGN has broken down details on just how you can get them.
First up, you’ll need to gather about 3000 Competitive Points. These can be earned by playing through games in Seasons and winning the matches. However, keep in mind that you only get a few points for winning each match, so be ready for a grind. It will take a while to get to 3000 – maybe even over the course of a few weeks, unless you’re an avid player that doesn’t mind the grind.
After that, once you do get the points, all you’ll need to do is go into the Hero Gallery, select which character you want to get the Golden Gun skins for, and unlock them. Keep in mind you’ll need to do this for each character – you won’t unlock all the skins at once.
The video below from dadbodgames highlights what each of the golden guns look like on each character – even those that don’t necessarily have guns. Hanzo’s golden bow looks completely bad-ass in the game; and even Junkrat looks pretty cool with a gold weapon equipped, even with his explosive personality.
Overwatch is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
