Valve Reveals Best-Selling Steam Games of 2016, Including Grand Theft Auto V

It’s been a busy year in sales for Valve’s Steam service, as it’s sold millions of copies of some of the best digital games out there. To break it down more specifically, the company has listed its top selling games for 2016, and though it did not give specific numbers, it did break down the titles into four groups – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Platinum sellers should come as no surprise to Steam mainstays, as titles like Tom Clancy’s The Division, Grand Theft Auto V and Rocket League fared very well. However, there were some surprises, like 2K’s XCOM 2 and the heavily criticized No Man’s Sky, which has been beleaguered with problems since its release (though a recent patch has righted the ship somewhat).
