Overwatch’s Newest Map Is Now Available

by Robert Workman

For the past few weeks, players have been enjoying the Oasis map in Overwatch’s Public Test Realm, seeing the ins and outs that the new terrain has to cover, including booster pads and – gasp – traffic! But now, general players can check it out for themselves.

Blizzard has confirmed that the new Oasis map has gone live in Overwatch for all players, across the board on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The map features the new traffic and pads, along with palm trees and a lot of terrain to cover as you blast enemies off the face of the Earth.

In addition, the map also introduces the new Control game mode, in which teams can fight over a single control point in a best-of-five match. So you’ve got that going for you as well.

You can check out the video preview for the Oasis map below. Watch out for them cars!

Overwatch is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
