WWG got the breaking scoop a few days ago that pop sensation Ariana Grande will be featured as a playable character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Square Enix has finally sent out its official press release hyping this collaboration. "Fans of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the free-to-play Final Fantasy mobile game, are in for a surprise this month as internationally acclaimed recording artist and actress Ariana Grande will lend her likeness to the hit RPG."
So, yes, you will actually be able to recruit Ariana Grande's character to your party and use her in battle. The press release is showing off a few new in-game screenshots showing the new character in action, and you can find them all in the gallery below. We don't have the specific details about her character just yet, but we're assuming that she'll occupy some kind of bard role, buffing and healing teammates.
In addition to her in-game character, Ariana Grande's music will be breaking into Brave Exvius as well. Her song "Touch It" is coming to the game, but this won't some cheap or forgettable background music. Touch It is getting completely remixed and recreated with a full orchestra to give it that epic Final Fantasy feel. Check out the video above to hear some snippets from the newly imagined tune, and to hear from the producers themselves about this special collaboration.
As for Ariana herself, she had the following to say: "It is an honor for my Pixel Art character and for my music to be included in the new Final Fantasy Brave Exvius game, a mainstay in the Japanese pop culture, which I absolutely adore."
