"Join us at 9:30AM EST on 1/13 for Treehouse Live and an in-depth look at upcoming games featured in the Nintendo Switch Presentation." For those of you who don't already know (where have you been?!), the initial Nintendo Switch presentation is taking place in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday January 12, and will be broadcast live around the world at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET. We're going to be up late, drowning in hype, and then waking up early to catch the Treehouse Live presentation. This is like having E3 in January, and we couldn't be happier about that.
So what exactly are we expecting to see? A lot of exclusive gameplay footage, hopefully. Treehouse Live typically focuses on gameplay demonstrations, developer interviews, and executive interviews. During the initial Nintendo Switch presentation we're expecting to see an incredible lineup of launch titles for the Nintendo Switch, and since the console is only two months away, most of these games should be in perfect shape to show off to the world.
Of course we have no idea what will be launching alongside the Switch come March, but we can speculate. The enhanced ports of Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon seem like a safe bet, and of course, we're hearing that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be ready to launch with the Switch in March. We've seen a lot of Breath of the Wild footage already, so I wouldn't mind seeing some new games, personally. The new Mario game, perhaps? Either way, we'll be happy campers.
WWG will be covering the Nintendo Switch events in-depth, so stay tuned for all of the latest breaks and expert opinions.
