New Ghost Recon Wildlands Gameplay Video Is All About Being Effective As a Squad

by Robert Workman

A great co-op gaming experience is all about showing the effectiveness of a team when they come together to finish a task, whether it’s capturing someone’s flag, overtaking a base or simply marauding the living crap out of the opposing team. Well, good news – Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands has plenty of that to go around.

Hot on the heels of releasing an interesting new commercial last week, the publisher has unveiled a new gameplay video, titled Operation Skydive. In it, players come together as they slowly but surely overtake a cartel camp, using a number of different approaches, from going in the front door to launching an assault from a helicopter to skydiving onto the roof of a nearby building, busting through a glass portion of the roof and simply taking over.

Each of these Ghosts play an efficient part in the team, whether it’s providing cover or taking care of a certain part of the cartel camp – and the video shows just what can happen when a team can work together the right way.

Fans will be able to test out these team tactics – and kick a little ass while they’re at it – when the beta launches in just a few short weeks, leading up to the game’s release later this spring. We’ll bring you full impressions once the beta launches, along with any other news that drops from the beta.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands arrives March 7th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
