New seasons are inevitably going to contain new problems, and Season 7 is definitely no exceptions. The rise of bruisers, tanks, and overwhelmingly powerful junglers has made the first month of the new season a mixed bag. Patch 7.1 is looking to smooth out some of the more glaring issues, but Riot themselves have admitted that smoothing out the outliers is going to be a multi-patch affair.
For Bruiser and Tank players, that likely comes as bad news. Whether or not Poppy and Camille have been fully brought in line is up in the air, but both took huge hits that will at least make it harder for them to render the enemy ADC totally irrelevant. Other strong picks lie right on the wings, however, as Maokai is happy to take Poppy's place as the de jure best tank, while Rengar and his 800 AD are still a looming threat.
However, ADCs have been given the tools to fight back for the first time in a while, with some of the more slippery ADCs seeing large buffs. Both Kalista and Lucian are getting significant buffs, though Riot has stated in the past that these changes are a starting point and that they may not be enough. In addition, Draven is getting even more power added to his Spinning Axes, ensuring that he has a slightly better chance at surviving when he's forced to stand his ground against some of the League's strongest front-liners.
