Even though Capcom isn’t tying in promotions for the film Resident Evil: The Final Chapter with its game Resident Evil 7 (which is weird, since they’re coming out around the same time), Capcom is going ahead with a promotion for the game that includes some various movie-related goodies that come with it, if you pre-order.
Those who pre-order the game from GameStop will score a RE7 Survival Pack, which includes a Supply Box that comes with a number of goodies, as well as a digital copy of the movie Resident Evil: Retribution, starring Milla Jovovich. Microsoft’s Xbox store has a similar offer, with digital delivery of the movie after the game’s release.
Meanwhile, the PlayStation Store has its own Resident Evil promotion going on, as those that pre-order the game can score 40 percent off a package of Resident Evil films, from the original release all the way through Retribution. This would come to $24, as the collection normally sells for $40.
Those that have already pre-ordered will get these offers still, so don’t worry about checking back to see if you score these goodies. It’s worth noting, though, that the promotions are only good in the United States.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard releases on January 24th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
