Fans eagerly awaiting the return of Adam Jensen have something to look forward to, as Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal announced A Criminal Past today, the second downloadable adventure for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Set before the events of last year's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, this new story DLC will have Adam Jensen back in the swing of things as he's transferred to a high-security prison for some more than augmented crimes. Fortunately, he wants to be there, as his mission is to find information regarding a secret agent who hasn't been heard from in a while. Come on, did you really think Jensen wouldn't be the hero?

The story missions also have Jensen teaming up with series regular Delara Auzenne and new, unannounced characters as this downloadable content aims to explore and expand more of the Deus Ex Universe.

The first downloadable content pack, System Rift, launched in September and had Jensen re-teaming up with Frank Pritchard, one of his former co-workers at Sarif Industries. That mission had Jensen hunting down, you guessed it, secret information from a high-security data bank. We sense a theme.

A Criminal Past releases Feb. 23 on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam, and is included with the purchase of the Mankind Divided Season Pass, which includes this DLC, the previous one and some extra in-game items. If System Rift is anything to go by, expect this DLC to cost around $12.
