McFarlane Toys Producing Beautiful Destiny Figures Featuring All Three Guardians

by Matthew Hayes

McFarlane Toys makes figures and statues that gamers and nerds are actually proud to put on display. Plenty of companies try to cash in on the latest games' popularity and end up dishing out cheap plastic, sloppily painted, posed in the likeness of some of our favorite heroes. Not these guys. We always perk up when we notice McFarlane coming out with another The Walking Dead Statue (unboxing here) or video game figure set. This time, we're getting three beautiful Guardians from Destiny.

"McFarlane Toys’ initial wave of Destiny toys will include fully articulated figures that depict Guardian Classes, including the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. These figures will debut in new window box collector packaging and will come with a Destiny branded detailed base."

Each of these figures stand about 10" tall, and are set to debut this summer. They'll set you back about $20 at retail, which sounds great considering the careful attention to detail on display here. The Iron Banner Hunter is decked out in PvP regalia, crowned with the Wolfswood Cloak. The Vault of Glass Titan holds his Ghost suspended above his hand, and is that a Hezen Vengeance Rocket Launcher on across his back? Our King's Fall Warlock is decked out head-to-toe in raid gear, holding the exotic sniper rifle "Black Spindle."

“Detail, depth, and customization, that’s what Destiny gives its players, and that’s what made it the biggest new video game franchise launch,” said Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “With our upcoming Destiny line, fans can expect that same amount of detail and customization that we have built our own reputation on.”

Look for these beauties at a retailer near you this summer. And make sure to check the back of the box, you might just read something interesting. Destiny 2 leaks have reportedly come in the form of product and toy descriptions, so keep your eyes peeled!
