Sony's Offering A Free Multiplayer Week, And It’s Not Far Off

by Robert Workman

Not everyone can afford to go all-in on a subscription to PlayStation Plus, which grants multiplayer features for a number of PlayStation 4 games (as well as free monthly goodies, including a handful of downloadable titles). But for those that have yet to experience what it’s all about, we’ve got some good news.

Sony has announced that it is hosting yet another free multiplayer weekend, in which players will be able to experience one full week of competitive and cooperative play online across the board without paying a cent (well, unless they haven’t bought the games already). The week long freebie event will commence on February 17th, and includes popular titles like For Honor and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, amongst others.

A PlayStation Plus subscription won’t be required for those that want to jump in the action with those that do have one. Access begins on February 17th at 12:01 AM PDT, and ends on Sunday, February 23rd, at 11:59 PM PDT.

So jump in and have a field day across a number of titles. Who knows – this just might be the motivation you need to snag a subscription!
