Activision Will Return To The Show Floor At E3 This Year

Activision

Last year, Activision made an interesting decision with its status at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Rather than having a tremendous booth on the show floor (like it usually does), it opted instead for a smaller office space, inviting members of the press to check out games behind closed doors.

However, it doesn’t look like this practice will last, as the company is planning to return to the show floor for this year’s event.

The MoreConsole Twitter account revealed an early map for E3 2017, which is taking place this June, and as you can see from the tweet below, the company will have a huge presence on the show floor again, with a booth located alongside Microsoft, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Interactive.

Considering that Activision has some big projects planned for the year – including a rumored sequel to Destiny and a new Call of Duty project that “promises to take the series back to its roots”, it probably helps to have a big booth to draw in players. We shouldn’t forget Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy either, as well as other potential projects that could be revealed over the next few months. (We could also catch a glimpse of the new Skylanders mobile game that features a role-playing twist.)

Whatever the case, it’s good to see Activision back. They’ve always put on a great show at these events, and considering E3 is going public this year, it’d be nice to give attendees something to smile about – especially if they love Call of Duty and Destiny.

We’ll let you know Activision’s full rundown for E3 as soon as we find out. We’re crossing our fingers for a new Transformers game ourselves, but we’ll take what we can get.
