In some parts of the world, people are already playing Injustice 2 on their mobile devices. We in North America are still awaiting its arrival with bated breath and foamy mouths (only me?). Well today we got some brand new Injustice 2 mobile footage at GDC, and when the official Injustice 2 Twitter account tweeted out the video link, an eager fan asked when we could expect to play ourselves.
@NytmareCat Coming this May!— Injustice2 (@InjusticeGame) February 27, 2017
The response? "Coming this May!" Our curious Twitter peer made a point to ask whether the game would be coming before or after its console counterparts, but we never did receive an answer. Still, it's nice to know that we can count on both versions of the game coming out in the same month.
During that GDC presentation mentioned above, we got our very first look at Scarecrow in action. He uses an terrifying looking hooked sickle attached to a cord, and you better believe he swings it around like a madman. We also got our very first look at his super move. You can see all of that right here.
And in case you missed it, the mobile version of Injustice 2 also inadvertently confirmed Green Arrow as a playable character. In a promotional image that you can see right here, his portrait is very clearly seen among other characters. While Green Arrow has yet to be confirmed for the console version of the game, we have a pretty good feeling that he'll show up. See why right here.
So what do you think? Did any of you love the mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us? Are any of you looking forward to this version more than the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions? If you are, chime in on Facebook or Twitter and let us know why! Stay tuned to WWG for all things Injustice 2.
