Hello? Is anyone out there still playing Destiny? With so many incredible games in almost every genre either out right now or releasing imminently, it's hard to believe that the Destiny community could still be active, much less thriving. Even so, Bungie is teasing some new content from its live team, and it sounds like we could get the lowdown sooner than later. That is, according to a recent post on the official blog page.
"We're putting the finishing touches on an announcement about the next content update for Destiny," the post reads. "For weeks now, we've been teasing relentlessly that you haven't heard the last from the Live Team. We do that not to be cruel, but to give our team the breathing room they need to finalize the details - and bring you along on the journey as best we can.
"Tomorrow, we'll begin the conversation about what's next, including some fresh challenges for you to tackle and the sandbox changes that were previewed last week. This article will hit the blog at 9AM Pacific. You should expect an announcement and a reveal schedule. You'll be able to update your calendars. The countdown is about to begin.
"If that's the only sort of news you're craving, just hit the snooze button on your web browser and check back with us after a good, hard sleep. If you enjoy taking the pulse of our housekeeping and player celebrations, please read on."
Well that's that. Apparently tomorrow we'll have some kind of announcement and then something else to look forward to. Could we possibly get a countdown to a Destiny 2 announcement? If the countdown ends at E3, then hopefully that's an indication that a Destiny 2 reveal is around the corner. We'll be keeping an eye on things, and if anything big breaks, you'll be the first to know. Stay tuned to WWG.
