This week introduced us all to patch 7.5 and to say that it had a huge effect on the solo queue metagame would be a massive understatement. Half of the champions that infested the bottom lane got taken right out of the game thanks to huge nerfs, as both Jhin and Varus are now sitting shoulder-to-shoulder at the bottom of the win rate charts.
Some things are still exactly the same, however. The jungle metagame basically didn't change at all, for example, at least on the top end. While Kindred has waged a little comeback and Rengar has plummeted, there's still mostly the same champions at the top end of the tables. Top lane also is still pretty much the same old tango, with a certain blade-loving assassin still holding the top spot. Considering Riot has already gone on the record saying that patch 7.6 is going to be a small one, it's likely that we're going to have to learn to accept our current solo queue overlords.
