BlizzCon 2017 Gets Official Dates, Ticket Details

by Robert Workman

There are millions of Blizzard fans out there that can’t get enough of BlizzCon – and for good reason. It’s the ultimate place to get news on their favorite Blizzard franchises, like Overwatch, Diablo and World of Warcraft, among others. So it shouldn’t be too big a surprise that it’s coming back with a vengeance.

Blizzard posted the news today that the show will be making its return on November 3rd and 4th, with tickets set to be put on sale starting April 5th and April 8th.

The first batch of tickets will be available on the 5th at 7:00 PM PDT, with the second batch following on the 8th at 10:00 AM PDT, over on the Universe page. They’re currently set to sell for $199 apiece, plus taxes and fees.

On top of that, the company has announced that the Virtual Ticket package will be making a return, for those that want to attend the event but can’t quite make the flight. More details on this package are set to be revealed in the months ahead.

Finally, for those that want to go to the event and make a difference, Blizzard is also hosting a special benefit dinner, which will take place the night before the show on Thursday, November 2nd, to support the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). At the event, fans will be able to talk games and swap stories with Blizzard developers and community representatives.

Though the tickets are pricey – set to sell for $750 – it all goes towards a good cause. They’ll go on sale on April 12th starting at 7:00 PM PDT, and you can find out more details about it on the Charity Ticket Page.

Get happy, Blizzard fans. In just a few short months, your favorite show will return, and the good times will roll once more!
