Mass Effect: Andromeda Releasing Early On EA Origin Access Today

by Robert Workman

We can’t wait to get our hands on Mass Effect: Andromeda. Seriously. We’ve been waiting quite a bit to check it out, and the wait is just about over. But if you’ve got EA Access on PC, you can actually check it out a lot earlier than anticipated.

PCGamesN has reported that the Origin Access version of Andromeda for PC will be available by this afternoon! The trial is set to go live around 2:30 PM PDT. There’s no word, however, on when to expect the Xbox One version to pop up on EA Access, though it is expected sometime today.

The trial will offer plenty for you to do over the next few days, as you’ll have access to a limited part of the single player campaign, along with the multiplayer that was previously talked about following our hands-on this weekend at PAX East. So at least you’ll get to play around with that before the full game drops next week.

So keep your eyes open – that trial period can drop at anytime!

Mass Effect: Andromeda officially releases this Tuesday for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin PC.
