Journey To Un’Goro Card Pack Being Offered To Hearthstone Players This Week

by Robert Workman

Are you a dedicated player of Hearthstone? Are you dying to play the forthcoming Journey to Un’Goro expansion that’s launching next month? Well, Blizzard may have something that’ll certainly suit you, even if you’ll have to wait a bit to see what it entails.

If you take part in this week’s Tavern Brawl for the game, there’s a good chance that you’ll end up getting a free card pack from the forthcoming Journey to Un’goro expansion.

It offers a completely randomized deck, and you’ll need to win with it. But by doing so, you’ll get a card pack for your trouble, although you won’t be able to open it until the expansion goes live next month. Yeah, we know – we wanted to open ours early, too. It’s like Christmas.

The expansion is set to introduce 135 new cards to the game when it arrives, so there’s no doubt this deck will be useful when it comes to building up that collection. Also included in this expansion is the Quest card, which will cost you a good amount of mama and will ask you to complete a match. However, by doing so, you’ll nail down a very powerful card in the process, one that will definitely be useful over the course of your next battle.

Those that wish to stock up on extra card packs can do so, as there’s an option to pre-purchase 50 Journey to Un’Goro card packs for $49.99. While that’ll give you a good assortment of cards to choose from, you’ll also earn a rather unlikely reward – an exclusive Fossil card pack that you’ll be able to use in the heat of battle.

Based upon our previously posted story about the expansion, the official description for the expansion is as follows:

"Journey to Un’Goro will take adventurers to the heart of the Un’Goro crater, a prehistoric region of Azeroth preserved in time. Rumor has it that previous explorers left some unfinished business in Un’Goro—daunting quest cards that, should you complete their requirements, grant rewards of monstrous power. It’s also said that the crater’s dinosaurs can adapt to any threat through a newly discovered form of evolution, and can be quite territorial. Though you’ll be tested at every turn, worry not! Your safety is virtually guaranteed . . . just make sure not to touch anything!"

We’ll have more information about the expansion in the weeks ahead!
