Sniper 2

We hope you’ve got your sniping skills in order, because Rebellion’s Sniper Elite 4 is throwing a few more challenges your way.

The team has announced that some new DLC will be available for the game starting March 21st, including both free and paid DLC content. Let’s break down the paid first.

Coming on the 21st is a new Deathstorm Part 1 pack, which includes a new story chapter, as well as an expansion pack. Full details are below:

Deathstorm Part 1:

Set after the events of the main game, the first chapter takes players to the colder terrain of northern Italy, and a Nazi naval base recently targeted in a bombing run.

With imposing scaffolding, a German destroyer, and myriad Kriegsmarine soldiers to negotiate, Karl Fairburne must help finish what the bombing run started and retrieve a mysterious package codenamed Deathstorm from the Manhattan Project.

  • Playable from start to finish for 1-2 players.

Night Fighter Expansion Pack: Includes three new weapons and night-time camo rifle skins for eight weapons, as well as new male and female characters skins.

Pricing has not been made available just yet, but it shouldn’t be too expensive for those looking to continue their sniping adventures.

Meanwhile, a new multiplayer mode is being introduced to Sniper Elite 4 as well, and it’ll be free of charge. A new map will be available as well. Details are below:

Elimination: A two-team mode for up to 12 players that focuses on trying to whittle down your opponent's numbers. If you kill an enemy player, they're forced to sit out on the sidelines. But if their team kills one of your teammates, they tag back in one of their sidelined comrades.

Night Woods: Multiplayer map (you can check out a peek at the map in the screenshot below)

Rebellion intends to add even more content to the game in the months ahead, including the remaining two parts of the Deathstorm campaign, along with more free maps and multiplayer modes for players to enjoy, along with “a whole ton of other cool stuff!”, according to the company.

Sniper Elite 4 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
