Hearthstone Offering Up Free Rewards For The Next Week

by Robert Workman

Even though players will have to wait a week for the Year of the Mammoth event next week (and the Journey To Un’goro expansion after that), there’s plenty of reasons to play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft this week, as Blizzard has detailed a number of rewards that players can earn between now and next week.

The big highlight is the final pre-Journey To Un’Goro Tavern Brawl, which takes place tomorrow. If you win that, you’ll easily clean up on a free Journey To Un’Goro card pack. But that’s not all, as a number of rewards will be available to players who log in every single day leading up to the Year of the Mammoth event.

Here are the rewards that await you for logging into the game between now and then, and players, you won’t want to miss out:

  • March 29: 50 gold
  • March 30: Mean Streets of Gadgetzan card pack
  • March 31: 100 Dust
  • April 1: Whispers of the Old Gods card pack
  • April 2: Journey to Un’Goro card pack
  • April 3: 50 gold
  • April 4: Journey to Un’Goro card pack
  • April 5: Golden Volcanosaur

The developer noted that fans will want to catch these sooner rather than later. “Daily rewards begin and end when quests reset each day in your region, so be sure to join us every day to get them all.” Wise words.

It’ll probably help to stock up now, as Journey To Un’Goro launches next week, bringing with it 135 new cards to choose from. There’s currently an option to pre-purchase 50 different Journey To Un’Goro card packs for $49.99, which, in turn, can earn you a pretty sweet exclusive Fossil card back.

“Thanks for celebrating the Year of the Mammoth with us, and we’ll see you in the tavern!” the developer noted.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is available now for mobile devices and PC.
