Echo Fox's new League of Legends challenger team contains a never before seen level of stardom.

The new team consists of non-other than Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana, Marcus "Dyrus" Hill, William "scarra" Li, Danny "Shiphtur" Le, and Joedat "Voyboy" Esfahani.

To round off this start studded lineup, the team will be coached by the popular LCS analyst Mark "MarkZ" Zimmerman.

While there has been no official word from Echo Fox, a report from the Daily Dot confirmed the 5 legendary LCS pros signing with Echo Fox and this was confirmed on twitter by some of the newly signed player's manager.

This comes shortly after an announcement by Riot Games regarding franchising giving each LCS team a 'farm team' slot in the LCS. This roster gives the Echo Fox brand massive reach on Twitch, and on all other social media. While it is unlikely that these Challenger players will ever be called up to the LCS, Echo Fox's challenger matches will be epic and likely draw as much attention as the primary squad in on the big stage in the LCS.

Echo Fox's goal with this move aligns very well with the esports community as they seek to both compete at the high levels while being very entertaining to fans and having a broad appeal to advertisers. The massive reach brought, especially by Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana and Marcus "Dyrus" Hill will promote the Echo Fox brand and give the fans exactly what they want by seeing all their favorite players in a competitive setting together.

A quote from Marcus "Dyrus" Hill states: "I said I closed the book on my professional story, but I'm opening it back up again, I missed the energy of the crowd and the thrill of the competition, and with a great player-focused organization like Echo Fox behind me, I get to focus on playing how I want to play."

It will be interesting to see Dyrus playing "how he wants to play" on the big stage.

The only real question remaining is what position will each of these former pro's play? While ADC, Mid and Top are well filled, there is some question as to who will fill out the support and jungle role.
