According to a report from Jared "DeKay" Lewis from slingshotesports, Pujan “FNS” Mehta will return to his former team, Counter Logic Gaming to replace the recently departed in-game leader James “hazed” Cobb. Lewis cites multiple sources close to the team and player pointing to FNS as the incoming replacement.
FNS was a member of the original Counter Logic Gaming CS:GO squad and spent an entire year with the team before parting ways with the organization in December of 2015 after being unable to find a way out of the group stage at international events. CLG brought in Jacob "FugLy" Medina to take over the vacant roster spot while in-game leading duties stayed on Stephen "reltuC" Cutler who took over for FNS in an attempt to improve his individual performance. FNS ended up on the newly acquired Team SoloMid roster but was recently let go by the team alongside Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen.
After a rough end to 2016, CLG needed to make a change in an attempt to get the most out of its young new stars, Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Ethan "Nahte" Arnold. Not everyone gets a second chance but it appears FNS will, and for CLG's sake let's hope he makes the best of it.
