Much similar to the previous match between No. 6 North and No. 15 HellRaisers, this match would see an early lead swept away. No. 7 Virtus.pro matched against No. 17 Gambit Gaming, a team defying many expectations coming into the event. A team that has yet to have a ranking above 15 in the WWG CSGO Team Rankings, Gambit was clearly prepared coming into the ELEAGUE Major. Both teams sat at 2-0 with Virtus.pro taking wins over No. 4 OpTic Gaming and No. 11 G2 Esports while Gambit surprised the world when they defeated North and then No. 13 GODSENT.

Virtus.pro would be the leading team at 5-1 before Gambit began to click, building up some rounds of its own. Virtus.pro would be able to grab three more, solidifying the half would go in its favor 8-7. Virtus.pro would regain some momentum with a second half pistol victory, building up to an 11-7 lead going into the first gun round of the half. The Poles would keep the wind at their back, taking the round and creating a bigger gap between the two undefeated teams.

The Polish side would reach 13 rounds before the CIS team could finally stop the bleeding by taking round eight home for itself. Virtus.pro would go into the next round with three rifles only, however, an opportunity for Gambit to capitalize and shrink the gap should they win by also putting the Poles on a save round. Virtus.pro's plan would fail, leaving four members of Gambit alive and giving it some much-needed life heading into the end of the match.

Although Gambit was able to pick up Virtus.pro's save round, Gambit would be unable to stop the next buy from the Poles, allowing them to hit round 14 and move just within two rounds of taking the and make the playoffs with a 3-0 record. Virtus.pro would take the following two rounds to do just that, Gambit's last ditch effort was a force buy that would prove unsuccessful.
