Vainglory Welcomes 5 of the Biggest Esports Franchises to 2017 Season

Five of the world’s most recognizable esports franchises have entered the world of Vainglory, the #1 mobile esport in the world. Fnatic, Echo Fox, NRG, Rogue, and Immortals will compete in Vainglory’s Spring Season, which kicks off in March, marking the start of the game’s second full seasonal year.

The five teams will join powerhouses TSM, Cloud9, G2 Esports, SK Gaming, Team Secret, mousesports, and DetonatioN Gaming competing for large prize pools that will culminate in December at the second annual Vainglory World Championship Event.

Super Evil Megacorp will hold a celebration in the honor of the five new teams and their addition to the league. All five teams will be at the company’s “Super Evil Lair” in San Mateo for a “Run the Gauntlet” Preseason Invitational on February 26th, which will be broadcast live on

Along with the previous announcement, the 2017 Vainglory competition calendar was released. The Spring Season will start in March, Summer Season in June, and Autumn Season in September, which will end in a World Championship in December.
