mousesports, who has been as up and down as any team in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for the past 4-5 months, upset the apple cart and defeated No. 4 FaZe Clan 16-10 on Mirage at the DreamHack Masters Las Vegas tournament. With the win, mousesports finishes in first place in Group D and secures a place in the quarterfinals.

Early on, FaZe looked like they were in control of the map as they raced out to a 6-2 lead. mousesports regrouped winning the next four five round, four of them on team elimination. Like as boxer tryin to steal a round in the last 10 seconds, FaZe Clan came back and took the last two rounds while on their Terrorist side, making the score 8-7.

The boys from mousesports came out shooting to start the 16th round, winning it while playing a frantic pace.  Tomas "oskar" Stastny would bust out an amazing 1v1 against Aleksi "allu" Jalli giving the lead to the German esports organization, 9-8.

mousesports would never relinquish the lead again as they rallied off 9 of 11 rounds securing the win.

Tomas "oskar" Stastny was a juggernaut using his AWP to great effect, netting 24 of his 33 kills with the rifle going with his +16 K/D differential.

With the win mousesports will make their way to the playoffs while FaZe Clan will play Natus Vincere to see who will be the last team to make it to the quarterfinals.
