After a brief time using former Counter Logic Gaming member James "hazed" Cobb as a stand-in while the organization sought a full-time replacement for the departed Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik, that replacement has been found.
Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland will be joining the North American squad. The Australian player was most recently seen playing for the Detroit Renegades full Aussie roster prior to being released for reasons that appear to have been unrelated to his performance in-game. Rickeh acted as the team AWP player for Renegades but will be moving to the role of rifler moving into CLG while Kenneth "koosta" Suen will be using the big green gun.
CLG made the announcement in a video to its YouTube account as well as on the teams website.
Chet "Imapet" Singh, the CS:GO Strategic Coach for Counter Logic Gaming gave the following statement on the decision to bring in Rickeh.
"We decided on Rickeh because we were looking for a consistent and experienced talent. Rickeh has shown to be a strong rifler and playmaker in practice. In addition to rifling, he will also be our secondary AWPer in most maps. Koosta will remain our primary AWPer. Rickeh is a great addition to the team and I'm excited to work with this roster and to show that we can be a strong force in future LAN tournaments."
Rickeh has already moved to the teams gaming house in Los Angeles where he has been practicing with the squad.
