EnVyUs Fifth Team Announced for Gfinity Elite Series

A day after the unveiling of the first four organizations based in the United Kingdom participating in the Gfinity Elite Series event, more news comes from the organization. Team EnVyUs has been announced as the next and first international squad set to compete in the Gfinity Elite Series.

Set to take place at London's Gfinity Arena from May 26 to July 30, 2017, the event will see all participating teams compete in the Elite Series titles of Counter-Strike: Global OffensiveStreet Fighter V, and Rocket League.

Team EnVyUs has brought in $1.9 million in prize money in the last 18 months according to the announcement. The team won the accolade of International Team of the Year following its success in 2016.

CEO of Gfinity plc, Neville Upton gave a statement in the announcement in regards to what the addition of EnVyUs means for the new project.

Three more teams are set to be announced to join the cast of the Gfinity Elite Series.

The Team EnVyUs Counter-Strike team is currently ranked No. 9 in the WWG CSGO Team Rankings.
