H2K continue to make behind-the-scenes moves during the League of Legends off-season. After announcing that the organization is looking for future partners, the team most recently welcomed Javier Zafra as their new Director of Operations and Team Management.

According to Zafra, choosing H2K was
Zafra previously spent time with Origen and called upon his experiences prior to joining H2K but ultimately, the organization's reputation stood tall. "After my first experience in the LCS, I was questioning whether to remain within the Esports sector or not, but by knowing the depths and professionalism of the H2K structure, the extensive expertise of the people in the ownership group and the core values which align between the two parties, I can confidently say I've made the right choice."
The newest member of H2K wasn't shy about the potential of the team and said, "It is a team designed to win, with a huge potential, with very talented players and one of the best coaches possible. I think it's going to be a very exciting split for our fans."
H2K finished with a 10-3 record in the 2017 EU LCS Spring Split but bowed out in the quarterfinals to Fnatic.
