Although they currently have a record of 3-1, Team Dignitas announced that the have acquired support player Adrian "Adrian" Ma as well as AD Carry Johnny "Altec" Ru. Former Dignitas support player Alex "Xpecial" Chu will move over to Phoenix1.

The press release is as follows:

Team Dignitas, the renowned eSports franchise owned and managed by the Philadelphia 76ers, announces the addition of two new players to its League of Legends North American LCS lineup. Adrian "Adrian" Ma joins Terry "Big" Chuong in the Support role. This move follows the transfer of Team Dignitas Support player Alex “Xpecial” Chu to NA LCS team Phoenix1. Johnny "Altec" Ru joins Benjamin "LOD" DeMunck in the AD Carry role, transferring from NA LCS team FlyQuest.

“Our goal is to continue to grow and improve as a team,” commented Coach David “Cop” Roberson. “We believe these changes help to strengthen our line-up during our push to qualify for the World Championships. Adrian and Altec will both bring high level skills and experience to our team.”

Coach Brandon “Saintvicious” Dimarco expanded on Coach Cop’s thoughts. “Competition is good. It helps our players to stay sharp, focused, and working hard. We will look for the best combination of players to take our team to a higher level.”

Adrian and Terry "Big" Chuong" now create a support tandem while Altec and Benjamin "LOD" DeMunck give Dignitas a pair of AD Carry's to choose from.

Having more support and more competition within teams is a smart move. Keeping your players sharp and having them think that someone is always over their shoulder is good for a team. While job security is a good thing, staying competitive is even better.

What do you think of the move done by Dignitas today? Do you think it's wise to have four people in the bot lane? Dignitas certainly does! Let us know your thoughts over on our Facebook page and join the discussion!
