Fan Created Toy Story Skins, Buzz Lightyear Galio and Woody Ivern

by Matt Best

League of Legends fans certainly have large imaginations. Recently, a fan came out with a full skin design for Orianna called Dark Star Orianna. It's a magnificent looking skin and all of the visual effects are spot on.

The latest League of Legends skin mock-up, however, takes on two champions and strikes a chord with anybody who ever was a fan of the Toy Story series.

First, reddit user ccncwbys posted a picture of a quick sketch for what he thought Buzz Lightyear could be depicted as with the new Galio rework coming.

Afterwards, another reddit user commented and added onto the imagination of others. After all, who would Buzz Lightyear be without Woody?

This is epic. If you want to dig even deeper into the Toy Story world you could then have Kassadin as Zurg and Renekton as Rex. The possibilities are endless.

Ideas like this have made it to through Riot before. Astronautilus is the result of a fan based mock-up and is now a staple Nautilus skin. However, getting Disney to play nice with Riot games would probably become an issue. Could you imagine, though? A voice line where Ivern goes, "There's a snake in my boot!" and one where Galio goes, "To infinity, and beyond!"

According to James Bates, WWG's League of Legends Writer and Analyst, ideas like this open up the imagination for many to dream up some skins they'd never think of. "Being the insufferable weeaboo that I am, there are some pretty obvious anime skins that I'd love to see. Black Star Zed? Kenshin Yasuo? Haruhi Lux and Kyon Ezreal? A Viktor legendary skin in honor of Okabe Rintaro's alter-ego, Hooin Kyoma -- with a played up line about being a mad scientist, of course? An evil Braum skin done in honor of Gendo Ikari? Yami Yugi Twisted Fate? There's a million things that I'd love to see, and considering the anime nods that already exist in League, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up seeing some of them one day."
