It looks like one of the most popular top laners, as well as one of the most popular junglers, will be getting a closer look in an upcoming League of Legends patch.

According to Meddler, League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer, Quinn and Graves are up on the chopping block.

Graves has become a staple in the jungle right next to Lee Sin. Not only a popular pro pick, he's become the second most played champ in the jungle (23.34%) according to champion.gg. As for his changes, Riot wants to make him more situational and not just a must-pick. "We'll be looking at Graves in 7.7. Starting belief is that he's too general a pick," said Meddler. In order to change things up, they plan on tinkering around with his kit. "First change we'll be testing is removing the MR from True Grit, making him a significantly less attractive pick against Magic Damage heavy teams. Very possible we make other changes in addition, or instead, of that though."

Next on the chopping block is Quinn. Quinn has turned into somewhat of a force in the top lane. Her 52.96% win rate is fourth highest to Kayle, Pantheon, and Swain. However, Riot doesn't look at necessarily nerfing her by just bringing stats down, they're looking at making minor tweaks to her kit in order to make her a more enticing choice. "We're testing some changes to Quinn at the moment. Goal there's about counterplay primarily, not power," said Meddler. "Quinn's assassination pattern's pretty non-interactive for how repeatable it is. Given her ult's low CD she's not windowed in the same way other champs with similar kill potential and target access tend to be. We're exploring changes that shift her towards more sustained damage as a result (less AD ratio on R, more attack speed)."
