The 2017 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is set to hit the Rift starting on April 28. It's an exciting time as 13 teams will be vying for 40% of the total prize pool that the event has to offer.
We've compiled a list of everything you need to know about the event including how you can watch it, what teams are playing, what new things you can get as well as a contest that you can be a part of!
Conqueror Karma is shaping up to be one of the most sought after skins in the League of Legends world. Portions of the skin's purchases will contribute directly to the MSI prize pool, similar to what League of Legends did during the 2016 World Championship with Championship Zed.
Riot decided to go with the term "Conqueror" as a nod to the regional clash at MSI. Only one team can win and really be the conqueror of all of the regions.
According to Riot, Karma was picked based off of "an esports-resonant champion based on pro play rates at Worlds to give us enough time to create a high-quality skin."
"Similarly, the Championship skin launching at Worlds will use top play rates from MSI. For both of these skin lines, we also consider other factors like how well the champion fits the skin’s aesthetic and champion usage among all players."
You can get Conqueror Karma from April 24 until May 24 for 975 RP.

Pentakills and Baron Steal Bonus'
Nothing gets you more hype than your own Pentakill or Baron steal. This time, however; you should get hype for when the pros do it. Whenever a Pentakill or Baron steal happens during MSI, a graphic will pop up under the scoreboard and you'll have your chances upped of getting a Legendary and an esports skin in all mystery gifts.
This can stack up to four times so you'll have plenty of opportunities and the odds should be in your favor with some hype plays on stage.
