League of Legends fan art is a perfect way for those who love the game to expand their creativity. Usually, we see variations of current skins or champions but sometimes a brave (and talented) fan takes on the task of creating a whole new skin.
That's exactly what Hamzilla 15 on Artstation has done. This artist has created an Infernal Syndra skin for one of the more popular midlaners in the game.
Personally, this is the kind of thing I like to see in fan art. While I can appreciate someone's talent when it comes to creating their own version of a previously existing skin, it takes special sorts of creativity and talent to create a completely new skin.
The rest of our League of Legends crew over at WWG pitched in with their thoughts, too! In a non-surprising development, they absolutely loved the art.
Tanner Dedmon - League of Legends Staff Writer
"The molten armor and the twisted horns are a nice touch to the Infernal idea since the horns definitely seem to be a common trait, specifically in the Infernal Nasus and Infernal Alistar skins. It's impressive, but it doesn't exactly portray the typically ferocious, angry emotions that the other Infernal skins seem to have. I would've also liked to have seen how Syndra's orbs would be represented in this skin concept since they're really what defines her character."
James Bates - League of Legends Writer and Analyst
"This is the kind of work that I'm always happy to see. This isn't at mere hobby, this is a passion, a work of art. 3D work like this is no joke, as the devs at Riot are constantly quick to point out, and the end result is exceptional considering it's source. I won't stoop to saying that Riot should hire this man, but I will say that someone probably should, as he'd obviously a skilled up and coming 3d artist."
