WWG CSGO Team Rankings 1/23/2017

  • 1 1 Astralis
    Last 10: 7-3 SOS: 0.552 RPI: 0.597
    92.62

Astralis gave everyone a huge scare losing their opening ELEAGUE Major match to GODSENT, but quickly streaked back into the light with a solid win over OpTic in Round 2. Previously, Astralis had been idle and preparing for the Major.

    92.62
  • 2 3 SK Gaming
    Last 10: 5-5 SOS: 0.524 RPI: 0.591
    91.47

SK Gaming was being criticized by some for some of their apparent lack of seriousness when it came to preparing for the ELEAGUE Major. So far, they have shut down all their critics and have won their first two group stage matches against HellRaisers and FaZe Clan. This team is proving just how talented they are as the continue to play with FOX as a stand-in.

    91.47
  • 3 15 Team EnVyUs
    Last 10: 8-2 SOS: 0.536 RPI: 0.59
    91.33

EnVyUs struggled to a triple-overtime victory over an obvious struggling Team Liquid and then were blown out of the water by Natus Vincere in the second round of the ELEAGUE Major. This team is on the struggle-bus right now and is showing some glaring weaknesses in their game against top-tier competition.

    91.33
  • 4 9 OpTic Gaming
    Last 10: 5-5 SOS: 0.535 RPI: 0.589
    91.01

OpTic has their backs to the wall after losing to both Virtus.pro and Astralis in Rounds 1 and 2 at the ELEAGUE Major. A team that has seen unfortunate circumstances unfold hasn't lost to a bad team, so their spot in the Top 5 should be secure. However, dropping a match to FlipSid3 would be disaster.

    91.01
  • 5 1 8 Ninjas in Pyjamas
    Last 10: 4-6 SOS: 0.552 RPI: 0.583
    90.08

The NiP has been in seclusion since their unexpected loss at the ELEAGUE Main Qualifier back in December. The next chance the Ninjas get to play will be at the DreamHack Masters Las Vegas facing off against some very good competition such as SK, Virtus.pro, and Natus Vincere. This may be the last rodeo for these fans favorites if they don't get the results they want.

    90.08
  • 6 1 6 North
    Last 10: 4-6 SOS: 0.553 RPI: 0.583
    89.96

Since leaving Team Dignitas and being acquired by FC Copenhagen, North has struggled - mightily. In the first two rounds of the ELEAGUE Major they have dropped matches to both Gambit Gaming and Fnatic, teams that they should beat. Something is going on with the squad and it isn't all good.

    89.96
  • 7 1 2 Virtus.pro
    Last 10: 8-2 SOS: 0.552 RPI: 0.579
    89.27

Virtus.pro is back. After taking some time off and then playing at the WESG 2016 Finals to practice and train, VP has come into the ELEAGUE Major with a vengeance, securing wins over OpTic Gaming and G2. Virtus.pro knows how to start off a year.

    89.27
  • 8 1 5 FaZe Clan
    Last 10: 8-2 SOS: 0.555 RPI: 0.577
    89.24

FaZe is a team that is simply looking to get to the next level. They have been consistent in beating the second-tier teams and just when you think they are in position to beat a team like SK, they can't finish. All that, FaZe is still a very solid team and will be tested at the ELEAGUE Major this week.

    89.24
  • 9 10 Immortals
    Last 10: 5-5 SOS: 0.494 RPI: 0.576
    88.71

With a 103-49 overall record since their reset, the Immortals have become a solid team. However, they still show signs of inconsistency. They failed to qualify for DreamHack Las Vegas, but will see action in ESL Pro League Season 5 play starting in February.

    88.71
  • 10 13 mousesports
    Last 10: 7-3 SOS: 0.552 RPI: 0.575
    88.70

mousesports looks like a team on the edge. This team is very close to pushed pushed off of the proverbial CS:GO map and into oblivion. A loss to Natus Vincere can be looked at as a good beat, but getting crushed by a struggling fnatic and now on the brink of elimination from the ELEAGUE Major could destroy this team.

    88.70
  • 11 14 G2 Esports
    Last 10: 6-4 SOS: 0.545 RPI: 0.569
    87.18

G2 is playing well at the moment, going 1-1 so far at the ELEAGUE Major. They took out fnatic, but lost in a very close map against Virtus.pro 14-16. ScreaM has been the cream of the crop in G2 and has been outstanding this far at the Major with a headshot percentage of over 82 percent. G2 is however another team that could see a huge roster shuffle if they do not get to the Top 8 at the Major.

    87.18
  • 12 1 18 GODSENT
    Last 10: 7-3 SOS: 0.522 RPI: 0.567
    86.95

GODSENT withdrew from the WESG 2016 Finals a day before it began in the hopes that they could practice and prepare for the ELEAGUE Major. All looked well in their first match against Astralis, the No. 1 team in the world, but afterwards the CSGO deities have turned their backs and GODSENT has dropped matches to Gambit and EnVyUs. This could very well be the end for this talented group.

    86.95
  • 13 1 12 Cloud9
    Last 10: 4-6 SOS: 0.522 RPI: 0.563
    86.10

Cloud9 has been idle since December 19 when they were attempting to qualify for the ELEAGUE Major. Since, there have been rumors of dissent in the clubhouse and it has yet to be seen if Cloud9 can regain the form with which they played at the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals.

    86.10
  • 14 4 Natus Vincere
    Last 10: 5-5 SOS: 0.541 RPI: 0.562
    85.90

Is Natus Vincere back? So far they are 2-0 at the ELEAGUE Major albeit the wins have come at the expense of both EnVyUs and mousesports. The break looks to have done this team some serious good as now they all seem to be on the same page.

    85.90
  • 15 21 HellRaisers
    Last 10: 4-6 SOS: 0.531 RPI: 0.558
    85.20

Looks like HellRaisers rise to glory was an anomaly. Currently in the midst of a four match losing streak, HellRaisers is one loss away from being ejected from the ELEAGUE Major after suffering losses to SK Gaming and mousesports. Remember that it was a struggling Cloud9 they beat to get into the Major in the first place.

    85.20

  • 17 1 11 Gambit Gaming
    Last 10: 8-2 SOS: 0.508 RPI: 0.54
    82.23

Gambit has been nothing short of great so far at the ELEAGUE Major. Sitting on a 2-0 record with wins over North and GODSENT, they are one win away from having "Legend" status for the next major. If this team does that, look for a significant upward move in the rankings.

    82.23
  • 18 1 20 Renegades
    Last 10: 6-4 SOS: 0.527 RPI: 0.54
    81.93

Renegades has been idle since qualifying for the DreamHack Masters Las Vegas event taking place in February.

    81.93
  • 19 1 17 Team Liquid
    Last 10: 4-6 SOS: 0.482 RPI: 0.537
    81.53

Could this finally be the end for Team Liquid? Sitting on a 1-1 record so far in ELEAGUE Major play with a win over FlipSid3 Tactics and a loss to EnVyUs, this team now is matched up against a very good FaZe Clan team. Liquid has got to beat teams like FaZe if they are going to claim any part of their former selves, but if they don't, we could very well see this roster get blown up.

    81.53
  • 20 1 NA Epsilon
    Last 10: 5-5 SOS: 0.521 RPI: 0.525
    79.62

    78.88

Fans everywhere are aching to see the fnatic of old return to the days they were relevant in any tournament they played. They may get their wish. Fnatic is only one win away from retaining their Legend status after starting off 2-1 at the ELEAGUE Major. A loss to G2 and two good wins over North and mousesports have put this team in a position to perhaps regain their previous relevance.

    78.88
  • 22 24 FlipSid3 Tactics
    Last 10: 7-3 SOS: 0.514 RPI: 0.512
    77.89

FlipSid3 is simply not the team they once were and will most likely lose their Legend status after losing to both FaZe Clan and Team Liquid. It would take ab absolutel miracle for them to remain in contention at the ELEAGUE Major especially having to face OpTic Gaming in their elimination match.

    77.89
  • 23 19 Kinguin
    Last 10: 7-3 SOS: 0.495 RPI: 0.511
