It’s been a big year for video games on the Amazon site, as the retailer has once again posted big sales numbers across the board, for hardware and software alike. Of course, its Amazon Prime program has been a big contributor to this, not only with free two-day shipping, but also 20 percent discount on a majority of its newer game titles.
The company recently posted its 2016 results, indicating what where the biggest sellers for the year. Hardware-wise, Sony dominated once more, just as it did in 2015, with its PlayStation 4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle, which is currently going for $249.99 and includes a copy of one of last year’s most impressive games. Close behind in second place was the Black Ops III PlayStation 4 bundle, followed by the PlayStation 4 Pro in third place. (Amazon didn’t say where the Xbox One S consoles ranked for the season.)
In addition, Amazon also posted its top twenty selling games, and coming in first place were none other than Pokémon Sun at number one and Pokémon Moon in second place.
