Pokemon Go: Gen 2 Pokemon Are Here!
by Christian Hoffer

Pokemon Go has unleashed over 80 new Pokemon into the game! As of 6 PM ET, players can now catch most of the Pokemon first seen in Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Pokemon Go announced they were adding the new Pokemon yesterday, leading to a flurry of speculation as to when the Pokemon would show up and how many would appear. News releases by Sprint and a European mall operator seemingly confirmed that the Pokemon would appear before Friday evening (ET).
While we're still collecting information on the new Pokemon, it appears that every non-Legendary Pokemon from the Kanto and Johto regions are now available. We're still waiting to see if outliers like Unown (which has 26 variant forms) or Tyrogue (a baby Pokemon not introduced with the other Gen 2 Babies last year) were added to the game.
Keep tuned to WWG as we begin to explore the bold new additions to Pokemon Go.
