While some folks laughed at Tom Brady’s usage of a rather big Patriots coat – even though the laughing silenced a bit when he managed to win the Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons in a tremendous comeback victory – he appears to be taking the image in stride, making use of it on, of all things, a Pokémon card.
Brady shared the image on his Instagram account earlier today, basically replacing the picture of him in the oversized coat in place of a Snorlax. “Maybe a bit late to the game on this one but my son still calls me Snorlax…” he noted.
The card has been a big hit with the community thus far, with over 195,000 likes on Instagram, and plenty of buzz on social media.
But still…what’s with that big coat anyway? Did Brady borrow it from one of the larger players on the team? Or did he find that a snuggy just wasn’t getting the job done?
Whatever the case, it’s great to see Brady take the whole thing with a sense of humor.
