Pokémon GO! is certainly a fun, addictive game, but there are scenarios that it has been involved in where it’s less than favorable.

About six months ago, Pokémon GO! player Calvin Riley was shot and killed in San Francisco’s Aquatic Park – and now his father wants justice.

Following a vigil where family and friends gathered together to remember Calvin, the father, Sean, announced that he would offer a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the boy’s killer, according to ABCNews7.

“It’s a nightmare every day,” he said. “It’s a nightmare.”

As far as words he had for the shooter, he exclaimed, “You ripped my heart out of my chest. You took my best friend, my everything. You took everything from me that night.”

“Our end goal is to put handcuffs on the perpetrator of this heinous event,” noted Lt. Timothy Hodge of the United States Park Police, who was also at the vigil. “We’re hoping that with the announcement that Sean made, offering the reward, that would shake some other people to do the right thing. To speak on what occurred.”

Riley’s friend Thomas McCarthy also added, “Please confess. You know what you did was wrong. You took someone away that was way too young.”

Here’s hoping the killer is found sooner rather than later.
