Some people like to dress up as the Easter bunny and surprise their children on Easter. Makes sense, right? Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson decided to kick things up a notch by disguising himself as Pikachu because, apparently, that's his daughter Jasmine's favorite character. Watch the adorable scene play out right here:
"Well, Pikachu didn't account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, 'I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you're not allowed to take a break until I go night night.' At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, 'Peekyu' because she can't say, Pikachu.
"I'm tired, today's my only day off, it's 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It's what daddy's do. Happy Easter to you guys and enjoy your families."
I don't care what you happen to think of The Rock as an actor, there's no denying that he's a pretty neat human being and family man. We have to say, though, that if we were that little girl, we'd be running away from this Pikachu as well. Did you guys see the actual head and face for that costume?! It's freaking terrifying.
The real star of the show here is Hobbs, who you can see toward the beginning of the video relentlessly biting at Pikachu's ankles. How horrified and confused that animal must have been as Johnson pulled off his head and put it back on again. He stays at his heels, vigilant and protective, making sure that this strange and terrifying creature doesn't harm anyone else in the family.
So from your beloved WWG, PopCulture.com, and comicbook.com family, as well as The Rock, his daughter, and his zealous pupper, we all wish you a belated Easter. We hope you all got to spend some good time with your loved ones.
