Japanese fans are getting another cool bit of Pokemon merchandise. Google Play is releasing two Pokemon Go-themed gift cards, perfect for fans still playing the popular mobile app. The new cards feature Pikachu standing in front of the Google Play arrow, which has a special Poke Ball color scheme.

The gift cards have two variations: a fixed 5,000 yen card and a card that can be loaded with anywhere between 1,500 yen and 50,000 yen. Although the cards are perfect for purchasing items in Pokemon Go, the balances can be used for any Google Play purchase on an Android phone.

Anyone who purchases the gift cards at a Pokemon Center retail center will also receive a special set of stickers featuring the logos of Pokemon Go's three teams.

Although Pokemon Go isn't as popular as it was last summer, it still has a large player base over in Japan. Pokemon Go has held several special events in Japan to drive players to areas impacted by recent earthquakes or tsunamis, with several more planned for later this year.

Sadly, this will likely be yet another piece of Pokemon memorabilia only available in Japan, so you'll have to travel abroad in order to get your hands on one of these gift cards to complete your Pokemon collection.
